This model was designed by Dr Albert Nazarov of Albatross Marine Design specifically for the water based tourism industry in Thailand. This is a market segment that has been blighted by safety issues over a long period. The AT47 was designed with safety as paramount importance and features water tight in hull compartments which make the boat virtually unsinkable. Safety issues of the design were matched with emphasis on passenger comfort and economy of operation.
